CALIFORNIA FOUNDRY HISTORY MUSEUM- SACRAMENTO is located in Sacramento at the former McClellan Air Force Base and includes a wide variety of beautifully displayed photos and written history dating back 150 years to the Gold Rush--the beginning of our state's rich foundry history. The lobby museum offers a wealth of visual displays and information about the casting process, general California foundry history, and castings used in transportation, defense, water control, and recycling. CALIFORNIA FOUNDRY HISTORY MUSEUM- LODI is located at Micke Grove Park, in the Delta Building, in Lodi. The second of the CFHI museums, this museum includes displays on the foundries that contributed to the San Joaquin area's agriculture and manufacturing growth. Pictures, artifacts, patterns, castings, and interative displays can be found at CFHI's Lodi Museum.
