Metal casting had its beginnings around 4000 B.C. in the Russian Black Sea area.
Heating metal and shaping it with a hammer eventually made its way
to heating the metal to a molten state and pouring it into a mold.
Over 6000 years later, this process still remains relatively the same.
But the tools, equipment and techniques have advanced considerably.
